Here is some basic information you might want to know after becoming EDF donor:
1. Tax-deductible donation receipt

As a registered, tax-exempted organization, donations to EDF are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by Thai law.

EDF Donors will get an original receipt within 7-14 days by postal mail or your given email address, after the donation has been successfully processed.
2. Scholarship Student Information

EDF begins sending off student information packs to donors from July onwards after the first school term starts in June and all students’ enrollments are confirmed by schools. Enclosed in the packs are student’s photo and their basic profile as well as an introduction letter from the student.
3. Transfer of Scholarship Funds to the Recipients

EDF transfers scholarship funds to students twice a year in July (1st School Term) and November (2nd School Term), after confirmation of enrollment of scholarship students in each school term has been received

Occasionally student substitutions are sometimes necessary as a result of factors such as change of school or relocation due to changes in the parents’ employment. Donors will be informed of such changes and EDF will reallocate the funds to other qualified candidates, whose information will be posted to you at the earliest possible time.
4. Correspondence from Scholarship Students

When available, EDF will forward all correspondence from students (such as "thank you" letters or greeting cards) to their donors.
5. Regular updated news and information

Donors will be periodically informed about EDF’s recent progress and new giving campaigns through either your given email or mailing adress
