EDF Donor's Guide
Here is some basic information you might want to know after becoming EDF donor:

1. Tax-deductible donation receipt
  • As a registered, tax-exempted organization, donations to EDF are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by Thai law.

  • EDF Donors will get an original receipt within 7-14 days by postal mail or your given email address, after the donation has been successfully processed.

2.  Scholarship Student Information
  • EDF begins sending off student information packs to donors from July onwards after the first school term starts in June and all students’ enrollments are confirmed by schools. Enclosed in the packs are student’s photo and their basic profile as well as an introduction letter from the student.

3. Transfer of Scholarship Funds to the Recipients
  • EDF transfers scholarship funds to students twice a year in July (1st School Term) and November (2nd School Term), after confirmation of enrollment of scholarship students in each school term has been received

  • Occasionally student substitutions are sometimes necessary as a result of factors such as change of school or relocation due to changes in the parents’ employment. Donors will be informed of such changes and EDF will reallocate the funds to other qualified candidates, whose information will be posted to you at the earliest possible time.

4. Correspondence from Scholarship Students

  • When available, EDF will forward all correspondence from students (such as "thank you" letters or greeting cards) to their donors.
