| In cooperation with Ajinomoto Inc. in Japan, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., the Education for Development Foundation (EDF) organised a 2-day-and-1-night student’s workshop to raise the capability of student leaders who participated in the 2nd year project titled “Agriculture for Lunch Supply and Nutrition Promotion Project” at five schools continued in the 2nd year in Nakhon Ratchasima. The project aims at building relationship between the leading students and the community to raise the understanding about the importance of good nutrition. To achieve this, the project aimed to changing eating behaviour of those concerned as, of course, good food brings good health, not only their physical conditions, but also their minds, emotions, socialisation capability, and intelligence. |

Being held at the Centre for the Development and Promotion of Agricultural Practice in Buriram Province (Plant Culture) from August 3 to 4, 2011, the student’s camp aimed at building a strong teamwork of those leading students who should have volunteering mindsets and leadership as they would have to build strong relationship between their schools and the community people in order to raise the nutrition awareness.
Attending workshops that aimed at building the understanding of role and responsibilities, the student leaders were expected to manage to raise public awareness, especially the importance of nutrition and health promotion, under the supervision of nutritionist from Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. and leadership trainers from EDF.
