Omsin has been living with his single father since childhood,
drawing strength from witnessing his father's hard work
and dedication to raising and providing for him.
Sometimes, my father’s income isn’t enough to cover our family’s expenses, so he has to borrow money from relatives to cover both household costs and my school fees. I wake up early every day to steam rice and prepare for school. My favorite subjects are Social Studies and Mathematics because the teachers explain them clearly and make them fun.
I have two main goals in life, to provide a comfortable life for my family, so they no longer have to struggle and to become a navy officer so I can earn money to support my family and make sure my father doesn’t have to struggle anymore.
 In addition to his dedication to studying, Omsin also helps his father
with all household chores to ease the burden.
Even though life has been difficult, I am determined to do my best in everything I do. If I am given the opportunity through the EDF scholarship, I will study hard, stay honest, and never give up despite the challenges. I am committed to taking care of my family and giving back to society when I have the chance.
If I am awarded a scholarship by the EDF Foundation, I will use this opportunity to continue my education and improve my life. I aim to use the knowledge I gain to help my family live a better life and achieve a brighter future for all of us.
 Despite the hardships in life, Omsin remains determined to do his best in
everything and hopes to receive an opportunity to make his dreams come true.
