EDF staff had visited NGO, government office and 2 Thai schools in Samut Sakhon. Where there are many numbers of Burmese children resign there. The mission aimed to get information of the Myanmar student life styles, health, environments, education situation etc.

Raks Thai Foundation in Samut Sakhon, The Educational Service Area of Samut Sakhon, Wad Sirimongkhol School and Wad Srisutharam School, these were the 4 different places that EDF team visited within 2 days. The team understood, and saw a clear picture of Burmese life style and their difficulties of studying in a higher level as migrant worker children. The great advance information about Burmese students’ situation helped EDF a lot to analyze and design new project development for this disadvantaged group. The survey wills extent to Maesot, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi province in a few months.
