Third year of Bridgestone Rides to the World
For the third year continuously the “Bridgestone Rides to the World Program” has provided the field trip for underprivileged children whose house is very far from school in Northeastern. In this year, Bridgestone Rides to the World Camp, year 3 focusing on “Let’s go to the sea”. The 43 second year scholars from Kalasin and Khonkaen who have won written essay titled “How Can Bridgestone Bicycle Make My Life Better?” were selected to join this camp along with 9 teachers from 9 schools for four-day and three-night.
Third year of Bridgestone Rides to the World
 
For the third year continuously the “Bridgestone Rides to the World Program” has provided the field trip for underprivileged children whose house is very far from school in Northeastern. In this year, Bridgestone Rides to the World Camp, year 3 focusing on “Let’s go to the sea”. The 43 second year scholars from Kalasin and Khonkaen who have won written essay titled “How Can Bridgestone Bicycle Make My Life Better?” were selected to join this camp along with 9 teachers from 9 schools for four-day and three-night. This program was organized by EDF with funding support from Thai Bridgestone valued of 414,000 Baht. Thus in this year the students went on to many places in Pathum Thani, Chon Buri and Bangkok from 11th to 14th October 2010.

We brought them to the Nature and Agriculture Education Centre, Khaokheow open zoo, Institute of Marine Science Burapha University, Bangsan beach, The Grand Palace, the temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) and Museum of Siam. The program is very memorable and enjoyable for all of the participants. Moreover as expected students gain self-confidence and useful experience after participating in the various camping activities and will in addition, motivate them to study hard while realizing the importance of education that society have granted to them, to fulfill their dreams.
