Academic Year 2026

“I have been living with my grandparents since I was very young. Every morning, I help my grandmother prepare goods to sell at the market before going to school. My dream is to become a physical education teacher so I can have a stable career and take care of my grandparents, just as they have lovingly taken care of me. I sincerely hope that your kindness will give me the opportunity to continue pursuing my dream.”
Hello, my name is Natthaphat. My nickname is BM. I am currently studying in Grade 6, Sakon Nakhon Province. I have been living with my grandfather and grandmother since I was very young because my parents separated when I was only 1 year and 5 months old. Since then, my grandparents have taken good care of me despite many difficulties.

They earn a living through rice farming and small trading to support our daily household expenses. My grandfather is 60 years old and is unable to work due to kidney disease, so my grandmother has to shoulder most of the family’s responsibilities.

“BM with his grandfather and grandmother, and the current living conditions of the home where they live together.”

Every morning, I wake up early to help my grandmother prepare meatballs to sell at the market. After finishing, I return home to take a bath, get dressed, and go to school. I receive 20 baht per day for school expenses. When I arrive at school, I quickly put away my bag and carry out my assigned duties, helping my friends and teachers every morning. I am determined to study hard so that my family can be proud of me.

After school, I help my grandparents with household chores such as filling water containers, sweeping and mopping the house, and assisting my grandmother in preparing meatballs. I do this to help ease their daily burden.

“In addition to helping his teachers and classmates with assigned responsibilities at school, BM also helps with household chores every day after school to ease the burden on his grandparents.”

I dream of becoming a physical education teacher in the future because I enjoy exercising, and the profession provides a stable income that would be sufficient to support my family and further reduce their hardships. I want to have a good career so that I can take care of my grandparents in their old age, just as they have lovingly taken care of me throughout my life.

I sincerely hope to receive kind consideration and support from kind sponsors. Thank you very much.

“Despite the hardships in his life, BM remains determined to study hard to make his family proud and dreams of becoming a physical education teacher.”
