The 4th Year “Disabled Children Dream and Friendship Camp” was held in cooperation with EDF and Wheelchair and Friendship Center of Asia (Thailand) during February 21-23, 2012 at Suan Pa Resort.
Participants comprised of 50 disabled children, 62 parents and 50 teachers who involving with disable children from Surin, Sisaget and Buriram provinces.
The Camp aimed to encourage disable children not to give up with their disabilities and learn how to live, learn and work happily with other people in the society.
Parents and teachers also had chances to share their different experiences in handling with disabled children and gained the appropriate knowledge and practices from the experts on how to take care and do the physical therapist for the disabled children or students.
Many activities were provided all through the 3 day camp such as recreational activity, games, painting, exercising, basic career trainingfor instances. On the last day, all participants had chances to visit the famous Elephant village in Surin and enjoy the northeastern Welcoming Ceremony by the villagers.
