My father worked as a Volunteer Army Reservist and didn't have much time to take care of me and my elder brother. However, my father passed away six years ago, due to the unrest situation in the three southern border provinces of Thailand. So, my grandmother and aunt have been taking care of us all these years. From a young age until now, my grandmother has been the one to send me and my brother to school every day.

My mother divorced my father before he passed away. My mother rarely visits us at our grandmother's house. It has been a year now since she last visited.
My father loved his family very much. Even though he didn't have much time for us because of his work, he tried to find time to visit me and my brother regularly. Sometimes, he took us for outings if he had free time. But now, only my grandmother and aunt remain who provide us with love and support.
Even though Deya doesn't have both her parents, she still remains steadfastly
focused on her studies. She aims to graduate and secure a job to repay
her grandmother and aunt who have cared for her since she was a child.
I want to study hard so I can succeed. After finishing my studies, I want to work to repay my grandmother and aunt for their kindness. I feel sorry for my grandmother and aunt because they have to work hard. My aunt also has her own children to take care of and support their education.
I would like to thank the generous people who are considering granting me a scholarship this time. I promise to study hard, be a good person with high moral standard and help my grandmother and aunt to the best of my abilities. I will strive to be a good member of society. Thank you.
