Only income from rice farming alone is not enough to cover the expenses of our family and also the expenses for our schooling. The situation is getting worse during the Covid-19 pandemic because we could not sell rice at a fair price. After school, I go back home to help with chores to lessen the burden of my parents and on the weekends, I also work part time to help earn extra income for the family.
In the free time, Jatuporn loves showering plants at home and reading books.
I love studying Chemistry, Physics and Biology. In my leisure time, I like showering plants, reading books and playing sports, especially Sepak Takraw. I dream to be a Pharmacist when I grow up because I love studying Chemistry and my parents also support me to pursue my dream despite having to work in hardship everyday.
Since there are a lot of people living together in the family, everyone needs to share responsibility in heling with different chores.
I am applying for an EDF scholarship because I want to help lessen the financial burden of my parents on my education. As mentioned above, my parents have 4 children in school age and if I could get a scholarship, I will be able to pay for my own education expenses such as school equipment, extra school fees and traveling expenses to go to school. I also plan to save some funds for my future education. If possible, I wish to continue onto higher education at university level to become a Pharmacist as I always dream for.
I hope to receive a kind benevolence from a sponsor to help make my dream come true. I promise to spend the scholarship fund wisely for my education and make you proud of me.
