Finally My Voice is Heard!
After we have shared a touching story of Malee Tanponkrao, an M1 (7th grader) student from Ban Kok Tongton School in Chaiyaphoom province, who was suffering a cleft palate from birth, her voice is finally heard.

Finally My Voice is Heard!

Today, many good-will donors have granted Malee a scholarship as well as some additional finding support. Moreover, as Tawanchai Foundation has learnt about Malee from our EDF News, the medical team, lead by Ms. Suteera Pradubwong, kindly offer her a cleft palate correction operation. You will be glad to learn that she is now on the road to recovery. With regular speech practice, she’ll soon be able to speak normally.

She said: “I am now very happy that I will be able to speak just like others. I would like to thank all those involved. I will do my best in my studies and realize my dream to become a nurse.”

She is currently living with her hunchback grandfather (84), her blind grandmother (70), her 3 siblings, her 6 cousins and 2 relatives.
