Heian Zakura Press release
The Education for Development Foundation (EDF) and Heian Zakura, Japanese artist group, organized a charity concert at Grand Tower Inn, Sukhumvit, on January 15, 2011 between 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The event aimed to raise donations from audiences to support scholarships for poor students under EDF scholarship program. The event was attended by more than 50 people, majority of which were Thai rather than Japanese. The Thai audiences were very impressed with the Japanese traditional music they heard for the very first time. In addition, the artists themselves also contributed partial profits from their performances in Japan.
