| UBS Celebrates 150 Years Organising Study Trip at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum and Siam Ocean World for Teachers and Students |

| Saturday 13 June 2012, In cooperation with The Education for Development Foundation (EDF), UBS Securities (Thailand) Limited organised a 1-day study trip for the teachers and students of Wat Bua Kwan School, Amphoe Lat Lum Kaeo, Pathum Thani Province, and the children under the patronage of Human Development Foundation (HDF). |

To celebrate the 150th Anniversary of UBS in 2012, the trip participants were invited to visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, Siam Discovery Centre, and Siam Ocean World Bangkok, Siam Paragon, Pathumwan District, Bangkok. This study trip aimed to promote the significance of self-learning outside the classroom and enhance the public awareness of UBS as an organisation which Corporate Social Responsibility is exercised in terms of education promotion in the rural area, life quality development for the poor, as well as education development for the street children.
On that day officers from UBS Securities (Thailand) Limited, teachers and students from Wat Bua Kwan School led by EDF, and children from HDF, totaling around 200 participants, enjoyed the 1-day trip together and experienced many new as well as interesting things. For example, at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the waxworks of world-class and Thai famous people, film stars, are displayed with short biography so viewers can study and learn how those people have contributed to the world. Besides, at Siam Ocean World the trip participants also get to know more of aquatic life that some are very hard to be seen. It can be seen on that day that the trip brought a lot of knowledge and fun to the students as they get to know more of the world around them.
